This six-month, learning-focused role offers practical experience in business development and consulting operations. Responsibilities will grow gradually as the trainee demonstrates sound judgment, reliability, and an understanding of Renovon's standards.

Why join Renovon

Renovon is an Ontario-based operational consulting firm for growing organizations. We help leaders understand how work happens, strengthen leadership, and implement practical change across people, processes, and technology. Our three core services are Business & Operations Assessment, Executive Coaching, and Change Partnership.

Key responsibilities

Research and opportunity support

  • Research prospective clients, markets, partnerships, and relevant business needs using reliable public sources.
  • Organize leads, contacts, findings, and follow-up activity in Renovon's approved systems.
  • Prepare concise opportunity summaries that distinguish facts, assumptions, risks, and recommended next steps.
  • Support approved outreach materials, presentations, proposals, and meeting preparation.

Client and project coordination

  • Help prepare discovery questions, background notes, and meeting materials.
  • Document decisions, action items, concerns, and follow-ups accurately.
  • Support project coordination, reporting, and the organization of client-facing documents.
  • Escalate unclear requests, risks, or commitments to the assigned supervisor.

Operations and service improvement

  • Help document workflows, responsibilities, and operational friction.
  • Support templates, checklists, dashboards, and other practical working tools.
  • Research digital tools, automation, and responsible AI applications when relevant to an approved assignment.
  • Suggest improvements to communication, service delivery, and internal coordination.

Required qualifications

You are curious, organized, and ready to learn through real assignments. You communicate professionally, follow through on commitments, and are comfortable asking questions when direction is unclear. You can work independently within an agreed scope while keeping your supervisor informed.

Required

  • Current studies or a diploma, degree, or certificate in business, management, marketing, operations, communications, engineering, project management, or a related field.
  • Clear written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong organization, time management, and attention to detail.
  • Ability to research a topic and turn findings into a concise written summary.
  • Confidence using standard office and cloud-based tools.
  • Respect for confidentiality, approval processes, and professional boundaries.

Helpful, but not required

  • Experience from customer service, sales, administration, research, volunteering, academic projects, or internships.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft 365, Google Workspace, Airtable, CRM, or project-management tools.
  • Interest in consulting, process improvement, workflow automation, or practical AI adoption.
  • Ability to communicate in more than one language.

What you will learn

  • Guided experience in market research, opportunity qualification, and client preparation.
  • Practice with professional reporting, workflow documentation, and project coordination.
  • Exposure to Business & Operations Assessment, Executive Coaching, and Change Partnership engagements.
  • Regular feedback on judgment, communication, accountability, and work quality.

Strong performance may support consideration for future coordinator or associate opportunities. Future employment is not guaranteed and will depend on performance and company needs.
